JLL France acquires GCL Europe, and creates a consulting business line in Supply Chain


​​Paris, March 31 2014 - JLL France acquires GCL Europe, a leading logistics and supply chain firm. This new business line will be under the responsibility of Patrick Remords, within the French Corporate Solutions team, managed by Joël de Lafond. Patrick Remords was previously an Associate in GCL.

Formed in 1995, GCL has developed and nurtured a strong and loyal base of corporate clients including French multinationals and SME’s from manufacturing, distribution, ecommerce, state services and logistics service providers.

GCL’s consultants are experts in operational supply chain and have successfully stewarded in excess of 1,500 projects. These missions include mandates for Vente Privée, Kiabi, Descours & Cabaud, and Bio-Rad, dealing with performance and costs cutting globally.

GCL Europe offers a complete and organized business line around 5 pools of expertise:

Supply of provisions and needs calendar 
- Transport, externalization & distribution network
- Engineering logistics
- Information system
- Training and support

The acquisition of GCL Europe fits in the development strategy of our business model, to unique in our field by bringing together consulting and market activities.
