Case Study

Peninsula Paris Hotel

Jones Lang LaSalle Hotels provided an in depth valuation of the Peninsula Paris hotel project, a 200-key property with a large Food & Beverage offering, housed in an iconic building dating back to the 1900s.

The Peninsula Paris, originally constructed as the Majestic Hotel in 1908, was later converted to an international conference centre by the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The historic building was bought by Qatari Diar in 2009 and is currently undergoing a major renovation program to become one of the most prominent ultra-luxury properties on the Palace market by 2015.

Jones Lang LaSalle Hotels’ role consisted in providing the owners with valuation advice using its broad knowledge of the Parisian Palace market’s construction costs, product concepts, operating performances, and investment yields.

Opening for the hotel is scheduled in 2013-2014.
